Born and raised in Borger, Texas, I bring a deep appreciation for small‑town faith, perseverance, and community into my counseling ministry. In 2004, I joined the United States Army, serving two back‑to‑back combat tours before completing my service in 2009. Those years shaped my understanding of suffering, resilience, leadership, and the weight people often carry silently.

My counseling journey formally began in 2017, when I earned Level 1 certification with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Alongside hands‑on counseling, I pursued theological training at The Master’s University, studying counseling and theology, and later completed a Master’s degree in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating in 2023. I went on to earn Level 2 certification with ABC in 2025 and Level 2 certification with the Institute for Reformed Biblical Counseling (IRBC) in 2026.

I currently serve as an Elder at Redeemer Borger and remain deeply committed to the local church as God’s ordained means of care, discipleship, and growth. I am married and grateful for a growing family that includes a daughter, son‑in‑law, and grandson. When not counseling or teaching, you can often find me enjoying the beach and time with family.

Above all, I am passionate about helping people walk faithfully with our King—bringing the light of God’s Word to real struggles, offering hope rooted in the gospel, and walking patiently with others toward lasting, Christ‑centered change.
