Sovereign Care Counseling is dedicated to providing compassionate, diligent soul care rooted in the sufficient and authoritative truth of God's Word to address life's most profound challenges.
Our counseling is driven by the unwavering conviction that all true and lasting transformation is solely the work of God's sovereign and electing grace. It is a grace that works to guide individuals, couples, and families toward genuine, heart-level change and Christ-centered wholeness—all for the glory of God alone.
Furthermore, we aim to make this care accessible to everyone by offering counseling at the donation level, reflecting the generous provision of our sovereign God.
Four convictions of Sovereign Care Counseling:
1) We present the Lord Jesus Christ as the crucified, risen, and reigning Savior, who, through His Word and His Spirit, can help us navigate our personal and relational problems. Jesus alone provides the forgiving mercy (through His death and resurrection), the wisdom (in His Word), and the power (through His Spirit) we need for daily living.
2) We use the Bible as our main tool to diagnose, explain, and solve our problems. As God’s Word, the Bible provides true, thorough, authoritative, and sufficient guidance for every life situation we face, and it is richly superior to the human wisdom and competing counsel of secular psychologies.
3) We reflect the love, concern, and compassion of Jesus, our Shepherd and Counselor. Biblical counseling is a caring process marked by Christlike love.
4) We seek thorough and lasting godly change by addressing both the inward and outward issues of our problems. Biblical counseling is not shallow, superficial, or simplistic. Scripture alone uncovers and addresses our inward, heart-based struggles (beliefs and motives) and our outward, behavioral struggles.

Select Biblical counseling for all general counseling sessions (marriage, anxiety, addictions, etc.). During the scheduling process, a form will be presented where you can choose in-person (if you are local to the Borger, Texas area) or virtual counseling sessions. Soul care services are on a donation basis (not required but appreciated) per session for 45-minute sessions. Or you can donate below.
